About

Bishop Boimah K. Duwah imparts God’s Wisdom to direct the flock at the Word of Life Church and the students at Life Preparatory Academy to help the become effective Disciples of Jesus Christ. Bishop Duwah always has a heart to help, the moment, help is needed. He has been called to ministry to go to the front lines and trenches for God’s chosen ones. God extended His hand on Bishop Duwah through the Word of Life Church which is a healing and deliverance center for all who are burdened and oppressed. Bishop Duwah is truly blessed and has a word for the people of God straight from God’s heart to yours.
Engulfed by God’s love, Bishop Duwah was born and raised in a family of twelve children to Mr. Blama and Meami Duwah in a village called Zordee, Bomi County, in western Liberia. Both his parents were Muslims and he was taught to pray 5 times a day and attended Islamic schools.
It was in March of 1987, when he had an encounter with Jesus Christ during a mass evangelistic crusade hosted by an American Evangelist named Eric. Boimah will never forget this day. By this time in his life, he had committed enough sins to be very remorseful which led him to pray and receive Christ as his Lord and Savior. In this moment, a tremendous outpouring of God’s love completely engulfed him and captured his heart. From that day forward, God has given Bishop Duwah an unconditional love, God’s love, for the people that he comes into contact with. As Bishop Duwah grew in his faith, he not only wanted to help people, but he also wanted them to know the extreme and unending love of God, and His wonderful plan for their lives.
On December 24, 1989, the bloody 14 year Liberia Civil War has started and Bishop Duwah was forced to flee the country for Sierra Leone. As a refugee, he wanted to learn God’s word so he joined the Freetown Bible Training Center (a school of the Kenneth Hagin Rhema Bible Training Center – RBTC). After 3 years at the school, he received a certificate, diploma and advanced diploma. Bishop Duwah also served in “Missionary Nations”, a mass evangelist crusade, hosted by CFN. It was a wonderful opportunity for him to see and experience the miracle working power of God. He volunteered for the less fortunate and needy and spread the Word of God everywhere he went. Bishop Duwah also attended and graduated from the Gospel Missionary Foundation University in Lagos Nigeria where he earned a degree in Missions.
Bishop Duwah has traveled extensively to many countries in West and Central Africa, as well as in the USA and of course all over his home country Liberia, conducting Gospel Crusades, Revivals and Leadership Conferences. In his travels, he was able to be a part of feeding programs for the less fortunate and orphan children and has dedicated his life to providing an education for them and teaching them to become Disciples of Jesus Christ.
Bishop Boimah is married to Pastor Eunice Duwah and together they administrate, facilitate and lead the Word of Life Ministries in Caldwell Monrovia Liberia West Africa. They have children of their own and over the years have adopted and raised many other orphaned children. Bishop Boimah and Pastor Eunice are a great blessing to their community and the people they serve in West Africa and beyond. They give God the glory for all the blessings in their lives.
